From catering weddings to shooting weddings. Hello! My name is Joseph. I have been creating images ever since my 8 year old self was handed a Polaroid camera by my photographer Granddad.
Deciding my life’s work was a tight contest between studying photography or embarking on a journey exploring my other true love, cooking (which was, incidentally, my other granddads great passion).
My Mom sat me down and said 'Joe, be a chef, travel the world, hone your photography skills and later on, if you feel like it, change!' So thats what I did.

She was always right. I hung up my apron and put down my knives for the last time around 15 years ago. Now my young family enjoys luxury cuisine at home and the couples I work with enjoy timeless photography.
And those two worlds, the kitchen and the camera, as far apart as they may seem, have become the unlikely duo that have shaped every wedding day I've been a part of.
My artistry is as evident today with my elegant use of light and shadow as it was yesterday when sculpting a unique pièce montée for my couples, as it will be tomorrow.
"If you looking for the perfect partner/right hand/a true professional for your day - you are exactly where you need to be, and Joseph is exactly who you have been searching for!"

Ducking and weaving, unobtrusive, searching. I shoot like a photojournalist.
My inner chef appears when needed, grabbing the right guests for group shots, asking Uncle Bob politely to put his camera away, organising unruly groomsmen.
Then it’s just the two of you and my romantic side comes rushing out, unbridled.
"We looked the photos many times since then and we want to sincerely thank you. Your work is amazing and help us to live our wedding day again and again!"

I am available worldwide, but my heart lies here. Paris doesn't need much of an introduction. It has been the backdrop to love stories for as long as anyone can remember, and if you've chosen it for your wedding day, you already know why.
I've lived and worked and breathed it in long enough to know its light, its rhythms, and its creases. Finding the places others don’t find, and capturing the moments others miss.
"Joe is very professional, he is a seasoned photographer. He can make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. It was the best decision to hire Joe. His work is excellent and captured the photos just the way we dreamed."

You'll find I’ll quietly command the days photos, whilst remaining relatively invisible and completely relaxed. I approach each wedding day with the same rigour and passion I have always approached wedding days, albeit on the other side of the kitchen doors. Meticulous planning, a second or even third path for every eventuality and an almost prescient ability to solve a problem before it's even presented.
"My wife and I booked Joe for our Paris wedding ceremony, and we simply cannot tell you how wonderful he is. From the beginning stage until we received our photos. The communication was so,  well, unlike many other photographers we had tried to get in touch with, Joe responds within 24 hours if not earlier.
If you are planning a wedding, we highly recommend Joe!"

I think that everyone deserves to be whomever they wish to be, I'm open minded and I'll show off each of your guests individuality presenting you with beautiful memories for generations to keep and look back on.
I don't follow the general conventions of 'The Wedding Photographer', I don't shoot the same old thing over and over and I definitely don’t believe in normal. I only believe in creating something that's unique, that's only yours.
Time zones don’t matter, let’s talk now.
